Membership Information

Membership of the club provides a range of benefits:

  • First and foremost, it is a lot of fun in a safe and healthy environment.
  • Club days (see diary).
  • Members can use the sailing facilities of Craigavon Watersports Centre for the discounted rate of £7.50 (adult) / £6 (students) and can sail at any time that the centre is open and boats are available.
  • Sailing skill development.
  • Club events, both sailing and social.

Membership Requirements

Membership is open to anyone over ten years old. Children under ten can join as a family member, where the parent/guardian is a member and accepts full responsibility for the younger member(s).

Club members should hold or attain within a reasonable period either a RYA Level I or Stage I certificate. Courses and / or assessments can be arranged through the Watersports Centre.

Club members use the facilities of Craigavon Watersports Centre and must adhere to all aspects of the health and safety policies laid down by the council. There will be a member of the staff from the centre on duty to help and advise you at all times.

Members must sign in on arrival and pay the session fee of £7.50 per adult and £6.00 per student prior to going afloat.

Becoming a member

Please complete the membership form and return by post to the club registrar (see form for address details) together with a cheque or postal order for the membership fees as detailed below:

Annual Fees (April to March): Full Member £35.00. Child Member £15.00.
